About Me

Trials and Tribulations is a blog written by Sophie Grace Kidd.

I’m currently a university student studying English with Creative Writing in London, and trying to find my feet in the world.

My intentions with this blog are to post my own personal, day-to-day posts as well as my own creative writing, and I’d be more than happy to receive any and all feedback that is available.

However, I’d also like to provide a safe-space of sorts for those diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, also known as Emotional Intensity Disorder.

I am by no means an expert in the field, but I am someone that has it and I am determined to fight the stigma surrounding it. I don’t intend to portray it as a sparkling, pretty disorder with rainbows and fairies because, quite frankly, it isn’t. But, I would like to provide advice and help to those who do have it and are struggling to trudge through all the negativity in the hopes of finding some sort of light at the end of the tunnel.

I’m still learning – about the world, about my degree, and about myself – and I’ll be documenting my journey, including the ups and the downs. And I’d love to have you there alongside me!

Happy browsing – I hope I see you again soon!
